The long term outlook shows slow growth for total construction put in place. However, public construction should help to mitigate some of the loss. Congress' American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan is centered on our country's aging infrastructure needs and concrete is expected to secure the bulk of these projects for the next 5 years.
